ZTF26aaglqak

General information

COLIBRÍ/DDRAGO observed the ZTF transient AT2026dbl (ZTF26aaglqak), noted as an LFBOT candidate, and detected it in multiple optical filters about 6.9 days after discovery. The transient lies about 2 arcsec from a nearby galaxy, corresponding to an inferred ~6 kpc offset if the reported z=0.19 applies.

• Optical: g, r, i, z detections with calibrated AB photometry (not corrected for Galactic extinction). No observations were mentioned in gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, infrared, radio, gravitational waves, or neutrinos.

Lightcurve and spectrum

• Single-epoch (2026-02-21 06:00:34–07:13:21 UTC; 6.90–6.95 days post-discovery) photometry after subtraction: g=20.62±0.03, r=20.96±0.03, i=21.21±0.06, z=21.41±0.16 (AB).

Redshift

Reported redshift: z = 0.19 (cited from Wise et al., TNSCR No. 22993), used here to infer a ~6 kpc offset and to compare brightness to AT2018cow at the same redshift.
