General information
GRB 260807A was reported as a possible faint gamma-ray burst detected by SVOM/ECLAIRs at 2026-08-07T11:00:20 UTC, localized to RA 16.1480 deg, Dec 44.7752 deg with a 90% confidence radius of 11.18 arcmin. The detection was below the SVOM slew threshold, and no immediate SVOM/MXT or SVOM/VT observations were performed.
Wavelength coverage
- Gamma-ray: SVOM/ECLAIRs triggered on the event with SNR 7 in 8-120 keV over 20.40 s, and refined analysis reports detection from T0-20 s to T0.
- Optical/NIR: SVOM/COLIBRÍ DDRAGO observed in z band from 0.7266 to 0.8050 hr after trigger and found no convincing new source to z > 20.0 AB.
- X-ray: EP/FXT observed at about 1.85 hr and 5.86 days post-trigger; no credible X-ray afterglow was identified, with reported 90% flux upper limits of 2.85e-14 and 3.67e-14 erg cm^-2 s^-1.
No radio, UV, infrared, neutrino, or gravitational-wave observations are mentioned.
Lightcurve and spectrum
- ECLAIRs refined analysis reports a multiple-peak light curve detected from T0-20 s to T0 in 8-120 keV.
- The time-averaged 8-120 keV spectrum is well fit by a power-law model with photon index 0.7 +/- 0.3.
- The corresponding 4-120 keV fluence is (1.4 +/- 0.3)e-6 erg/cm^2.
- No significant fading was seen among X-ray sources inside the ECLAIRs error circle between the two EP/FXT observations.
