GRB 260705B is reported as a likely long GRB detected by Fermi/GBM at 22:46:36 UT on 5 Jul 2026 and also observed by SVOM/GRM at 2026-07-05T22:46:39 UTC. The Fermi/GBM on-ground position is RA = 68.5 deg, Dec = -30.8 deg with a 3.0 deg statistical uncertainty.
Wavelength coverage
- Gamma-ray: Fermi/GBM triggered and localized the burst; SVOM/GRM detected it and reports duration, spectrum, and fluence.
- High-energy gamma-ray context: the burst was 77.0 deg from the Fermi/LAT boresight.
- Soft gamma/X-ray coded-mask context: the Fermi/GBM position was about 74 deg from the SVOM optical axis and outside the ECLAIRs field of view.
Bands with no observations mentioned: optical, infrared, ultraviolet, X-ray follow-up, radio, neutrino, gravitational-wave.
Lightcurve and spectrum
- SVOM/GRM reports multiple pulses with T90 = 99 +12/-9 s in the 15-5000 keV band.
- The time-averaged spectrum from T0-24 to T0+75 s is best fit by a power law.
- The power-law index is -1.84 +/- 0.06.
- The 10-1000 keV fluence over that interval is (1.11 +0.19/-0.16)E-05 erg/cm^2.
