General information
GRB 260525A is a likely long gamma-ray burst triggered by Fermi/GBM at 2026-05-25 23:33:42 UT and also detected by AstroSat CZTI. A rapid optical search by MASTER-OAFA reported only an early upper limit.
Wavelength coverage
- Gamma-rays / hard X-rays: Fermi/GBM detection and localization; AstroSat CZTI detection (20–200 keV) with additional faint detection in CZTI veto (100–500 keV).
- Optical: MASTER-OAFA clear-band imaging reported an upper limit.
No observations were mentioned in: soft X-rays, UV, NIR, radio, TeV.
Lightcurve and spectrum
- CZTI (20–200 keV): light curve peak at 2026-05-25 23:33:44.45 UTC; peak count rate 209 (+36, -36) counts/s above background; total burst counts 259 (+56, -54); T90 = 8 (+2, -2) s.
- Optical: MASTER-OAFA upper limit 18.1 mag (clear/unfiltered) at Tmid-T0 = 67 s.
