General information

GRB 260515A triggered SVOM/ECLAIRs at 2026-05-15T19:08:19 UTC, with a best-alert localization at RA=227.6800 deg, Dec=+24.5706 deg (90% radius 3.77 arcmin). A rapidly identified optical and X-ray fading counterpart is consistent with the SVOM position, and spectroscopy reports z=0.764.

Wavelength coverage

Gamma/X-ray: SVOM/ECLAIRs prompt emission; SVOM/GRM detection; Konus-Wind prompt spectrum/fluence; Einstein Probe EP-FXT detected a fading 0.3–10 keV source.
Optical/NIR: JinShan 100B, SVOM/VT (B and R channels), MASTER, NOT, LCO (r, z), GTC (r imaging + spectroscopy), OHP/MISTRAL (r), COLIBRÍ (r, z), Liverpool Telescope (g, r, i), CrAO (B, V, R, I) reported detections/limits. No observations were mentioned in radio, UV, mm/sub-mm, TeV, neutrinos, or gravitational waves.
