GRB 260102A was detected by SVOM/ECLAIRs on 2026-01-02 04:10:03 UTC, with follow-up identifying a fading X-ray source consistent with the GRB afterglow and an early SVOM/VT optical counterpart.

Wavelength coverage

Gamma-rays: Detected by SVOM/ECLAIRs (best imaging SNR 16.44 in 8–120 keV) and SVOM/GRM; Fermi-GBM reports a sub-threshold targeted-search transient consistent with the SVOM localization.
X-rays: Swift-XRT detected an uncatalogued source later shown to be fading (>3-sigma), and EP-FXT detected an uncatalogued soft X-ray source with measured flux.
Optical/NIR: SVOM/VT detected an optical counterpart in VT_B and VT_R; later follow-up reports non-detections/upper limits from LCO (z), SVOM/COLIBRÍ (r/z), AbAO (R), and MASTER (clear).
