General information
EP260512a is a fast X-ray transient reported by Einstein Probe/EP-WXT at 2026-05-12 08:31:32 UTC with a reported duration of about 200 s and a 2.6 arcmin (90% CL) error radius at (RA, Dec) = (223.899, 28.432) deg (J2000). Subsequent EP-FXT and multiple optical follow-ups report only upper limits.
Wavelength coverage
- X-ray: EP-WXT detection; later EP-FXT 2.6 ks follow-up gives a 0.5–10 keV upper limit of 7e-14 erg/cm^2/s.
- Optical: COLIBRÍ (r, z) and LCO (r) and MASTER (clear) report no new source, providing magnitude upper limits.
No observations were mentioned in gamma-ray, UV, IR, radio, or high-energy neutrino/GW channels.
