EP260507a is an Einstein Probe/WXT X-ray transient (trigger ID 01709261593) detected on 2026-05-07 around 13:47:44–13:47:57 UTC, with EP/FXT follow-up identifying an uncatalogued X-ray source and numerous teams reporting a fading optical counterpart consistent with the localization.

• X-ray: EP/WXT detection and spectral fit; EP/FXT follow-up detection with refined position and spectrum.
• Optical: Detections and limits from GOTO-South (L-band), Xinglong Schmidt (clear calibrated to r), Kinder/SLT (r), TRT (R), LCO (SDSS-r), Liverpool Telescope (g,r,i non-detections; later r', z' detections), NOT (g,r,i detections), COLIBRÍ (r,z detections).
• Near-IR: Non-detections/limits from REM (H-band limit reported) and MDM/MIRAGE (J and Hs limits). No observations were mentioned in gamma-ray, UV, radio, or mm/sub-mm bands.
