General information
EP260429a is a fast soft X-ray transient detected by Einstein Probe/WXT, showing a single pulse lasting about 250 s starting at 2026-04-29 14:41:11 UTC, localized to RA=240.629 deg, Dec=-9.588 deg (J2000) with 1.9 arcmin (90% CL) radius uncertainty.
Wavelength coverage
- X-ray: EP/WXT detection with reported time profile, spectrum, and flux (0.5–4 keV).
- Optical: LCO/SINISTRO upper limits in SDSS r and z at ~18 hr post-trigger; MASTER-OAGH clear-band upper limit at ~1.8 days post-trigger.
No observations were mentioned in gamma-ray, UV, IR, radio, or gravitational-wave/neutrino channels.
