General information
EP260223a is a fast X-ray transient detected by Einstein Probe/WXT at RA=92.774 deg, Dec=56.577 deg with a 2.7 arcmin (90% CL) positional uncertainty, starting 2026-02-23 11:20:27 UTC and lasting ~130 s. Subsequent EP/FXT and multiple optical facilities reported only non-detections.
Wavelength coverage
- X-ray: EP/WXT detection in 0.5–4 keV; EP/FXT follow-up non-detection with a 0.5–10 keV flux upper limit.
- Optical: Non-detections with COLIBRÍ (r, z), Xinglong 2.16m (N-band and clear), and Liverpool Telescope (r', z').
No observations were mentioned in gamma-rays, UV, IR, radio, gravitational waves, or neutrinos.
