General information
EP260128a is an Einstein Probe/FXT transient with a reported optical afterglow; SYSU 80cm obtained near-IR imaging at the EP/FXT position ~20.33 hr after trigger and found no J-band counterpart. The EP/FXT position is RA=128.32533 deg, Dec=-10.27565 deg (J2000).
Wavelength coverage
- X-ray: EP/FXT localization reported.
- Optical: optical afterglow reported in cited circulars.
- Near-IR: SYSU 80cm J-band imaging gives a 5-sigma limit of J~18.5 (Vega) with no detection.
No observations mentioned in: gamma-ray, UV, millimeter/sub-millimeter, radio.
Lightcurve and spectrum
- J band: non-detection to J~18.5 (Vega, 5-sigma) at 20.33 hr post-trigger.
