2026-09-07T00:38:36.290Z | rev 0 | event: GRB 260907A
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB

At 00:28:01 UT on 7 Sep 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260907A (trigger 810433686.93629 / 260907019).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 22.4, Dec = -39.0 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 29m, -39d 00'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.4 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 61.0 degrees.
