GCN 45195: GRB 260722A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization

The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 13:16:06 UT on 22 Jul 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260722A (trigger 806418971.769656 / 260722553).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 90.5, Dec = -40.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 01m, -40d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.8 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 18.0 degrees.
