2026-01-20T04:12:25.214Z | rev 0 | event: GRB 260120A
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB

At 04:01:54 UT on 20 Jan 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260120A (trigger 790574519.95612 / 260120168).

The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 345.9, Dec = -24.7 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 23h 03m, -24d 41'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.5 degrees.

The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 72.0 degrees.
